Peter Granger

I started drawing and painting when I was 21 years old whilst on a posting to Libya It was illegal to have a camera but nobody said anything about drawing pictures! Interestingly I have never had an art lesson in my life, as these did not seem to be considered important in my education. Perhaps this helped as it just think of art as one of the great pleasures in life.

You will see that my style and subject matter is quite varied and I use soft pencil, watercolour and oils. I can lose myself in my painting and find it very relaxing. I would like to do more drawing and painting but somehow the time just disappears.
