About Anna

Anna and her familyI grew up on a dairy farm near The Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire as the youngest child with her brother and two sisters. My parents were loving and supportive. When I was 18 I went to The Netherlands to be an au pair for a year and during this time decided that I wished to work with people. Once I returned to England she studied hard whilst working in a menswear shop and a chronically sick residential unit.

On completion of my studies in Exeter I went to Hertfordshire and settled there once married to David. Our main hobby was the renovation of a Grade II * listed Building. During this time I developed my own successful interior design business. David's career took us to Germany where our two sons, Tom and Ben were born. I taught English to German adults whilst living there. When Tom was 5, I returned to England so that he could attend school. My marriage broke down, resulting in divorce in 1998. At this time I seriously questioned life and it's meaning to me and slowly developed my own spiritual path, initially by my involvement with The Happiness Project and later The Psychology of Vision.

I am now very happily married to Steven and live in Cambridge. He has two sons, Sam and Josh from his first marriage. It is, therefore, a lively household with 4 boys coming and going, playing sport, music and computer games, but also many people connected to our respective businesses, family, friends and neighbours.

When Steven and I can, we walk at Anglesey Abbey NT, the Botanical Gardens in Cambridge, swim, cycle, take photographs and read.
